The Tobin Center Announces a Thrilling New Season of Arts and Entertainment for 2025–2026

The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts unveiled its dazzling 2025–26 season during an exclusive celebration in the H-E-B Performance Hall last night, announcing a show-stopping lineup for the Frost Signature Series, Tobin Dance Series, and the third season from 100A Productions—alongside the exciting debut of the all-new Tobin Immersive Collection. This upcoming season sparkles with Broadway blockbusters, daring new theatrical works, world-renowned dance, and transformative immersive experiences that invite audiences to step into the story. It’s a season designed to surprise, move, and ignite the imagination, all in the place Where the Arts Live.

“As we close the chapter on our tenth anniversary, we’re not just looking ahead—we’re leaping forward. This new season reflects The Tobin Center’s commitment to innovation, access, and artistic excellence. From Broadway blockbusters to boundary-pushing immersive experiences, we’re inviting our community to engage with the arts in bold, unexpected ways. There’s never been a more exciting time to be part of what’s happening at The Tobin.”

The Frost Signature Series returns with an exciting season showcasing the magic of Broadway in the heart of San Antonio. An exciting line-up of five sensational shows will captivate, inspire, and entertain audiences of all ages.

To further enhance the Frost Signature Series, The Tobin Center is excited to bring back Curtain Talks and Cocktails for a third year. Curtain Talks and Cocktails is a captivating and entertaining Broadway musical lecture series with Tim Hedgepeth, San Antonio-based theatre teacher and director. This year’s season will feature new topics celebrating the world of film musicals, including deep dives into Hollywood’s golden age, the rise of roadshow musicals, and the evolution of the genre from its big-screen origins to modern hits. Highlights will include lectures on iconic films such as The Broadway Melody, Singin’ in the Rain, and Mary Poppins.

The Tobin Center also unveiled the 2025-2026 Tobin Dance Series, made possible in part by the Rea Charitable Trust and the Elizabeth Huth Coates Foundation, offering an extraordinary selection of performances with movement as you’ve never seen it before, raw, refined, and resonating with emotion. This season includes the vibrant and powerful Koresh Dance Masquerade, the rhythm and movement of Water Street Dance, and the spirited and dynamic celebration of African culture in Dance Afrika! This series will journey across genres, cultures, and continents through a bold lineup of performances that fuse tradition with innovation, storytelling with athleticism, and music with motion.

This year, The Tobin Center is making the Drinks and Dance Discoveries lectures even more accessible by holding them one hour before each performance, instead of at a separate date. These educational and entertaining talks, available for free, will delve into the history, choreography, and artistry behind each production in the Tobin Dance Series. It’s the perfect way to enhance the experience and fully appreciate the performance ahead.

100A Theater Productions is The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts’s live theater project, bringing innovative and diverse performances that foster community, support, culture, and exceptional entertainment in San Antonio. Now entering its third year, the season will feature four fully staged productions—Greater Tuna, The Long Christmas Dinner, The Glass Menagerie, and Educating Rita, as well as a series of industry night staged readings. These readings will include The Miss Firecracker Contest, Oleanna, The Realistic Joneses, and Doubt, A Parable. Tobin members who subscribe to the full season of four plays will receive access to the staged readings for free.

Subscriptions for all three series are on sale NOW! Subscribe to the entire series or create your own season within the series and save! Subscribers will enjoy exclusive savings and the flexibility of free ticket exchanges within their chosen series. Plus, Tobin Members who subscribe will have all ticketing fees waived until June 5th and will receive free parking for each show in their subscription series in the Tobin Center Parking Garage.

The Tobin Center also introduced the Tobin Immersive Collection, a boundary-pushing series that invites audiences into performances that surround, engage, and transform. This season’s collection features Clue: A Walking Mystery, The RESET: An Immersive Sound Healing Experience with Davin Youngs, blending live vocal soundscapes with meditative light and energy; and 100A’s reimagining of The Long Christmas Dinner, where the audience steps directly into the world of the play. Through multisensory environments and innovative staging, the Tobin Immersive Collection dissolves the line between artist and observer, redefining what it means to experience live performance.

Tickets and subscriptions can be purchased online at tobincenter.org, via phone (210) 223-8624 and in-person at The Tobin Center Box Office (100 Auditorium Circle, 78205).  Box Office hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday, 10am-2pm.
