SXSW in Austin March 8-16

Deep in the heart of Austin, SXSW is the premier destination for innovators, storytellers, humanitarians, and global thought leaders for nine days from March 8-16.

Experience conference sessions, film & TV screenings, music festival showcases, comedy festival events, world-class exhibitions, tech competitions, award ceremonies, and more. Registration varies for students and group rates, but it’s only $1,990 for the Platinum pass.

However, on March 13 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Austin Convention Center, the public can attend the  “Austin Industry Day 2: Electric Boogaloo” for free. Each year, hundreds of exhibitors arrive to showcase some of today’s most forward-thinking brands and technology. The Expo shows how creativity fuels progress across all industries, from entertainment and health to social impact. This event is meticulously curated yearly to highlight brands, services, and products that will take attendees into the 22nd century and beyond.

Also, this year’s SXSW event features new keynote speakers. Joining the list of 2024 keynotes are WNBA legend and co-founder of TOGETHXR Sue Bird and co-founder and chief content officer of TOGETHXR Jessica Robertson to discuss the cultural rise of women’s sports. Also keynoting in 2024 is computer scientist, AI expert, and author of the national bestseller Unmasking AI: My Mission to Protect What Is Human in a World of Machines, Dr. Joy Buolamwini, who will share her insights and expertise on maintaining humanity amid AI popularity.
