Summer Fun at the Airport

When travelers arrive at San Antonio International Airport (SAT) each summer, they may be greeted by a sloth, a face painter or a caricature artist. It’s all part of SAT’s Summer of Fun events for the public.

“We want to provide our travelers with enjoyable memories while they’re at SAT,” said Jesus Saenz, Director of Airports, City of San Antonio Aviation Department. “Our award-winning Customer Experience team is always coming up with something fun – maybe it’s getting to take a selfie with a sloth or having a clown use their balloon twisting skills to make a flower or something else for you. Whether you’re a visitor or a local, these unique experiences are priceless. We’re providing that warm welcome – or welcome back – to San Antonio by offering a special experience.”
